The 1000 Miglia Green 2019 race started this evening at 7.45pm, when the participating cars turned on their silent engines to drive through approximately 5km of the city circuit in the centre of Brescia. Among the cars in the convoy, alongside the ultra-modern and technological cars, there were also a 1924 electric Detroit 9 and two models of the Volkswagen beetle (1303 Kaefer) from ‘72 and ‘76.

In the village set up in Piazza Paolo VI the public could also admire the new concept of the Alfa Romeo Tonale, the compact SUV made by the Arese company, and Blizz Primatist, a prototype with an over 300 km/h electric engine, the result of the Italian genius of Outline based in Trofarello (TO) whose goal, in the coming months, is to set new world speed and distance records.
